Alina Zagitova, born on 18 May 2002 in Izhevsk, is the 2018 Olympic figure skating champion. She trained in Moscow under Eteri Tutberidze and won gold at the Olympics, World, European, and Russian Championships, achieving the Career Grand Slam. In 2019, she paused her competitive career to participate in the Ice Age show and pursue journalism studies at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.
Zagitova maintains an active presence on Instagram, Telegram, and VK, engages in charity work, and has a particular interest in animals, including her Akita Inu named Masaru.
