Angelina Jolie, born on 4 June 1975 in Los Angeles, is an American actress and director known for her roles in Gia (1998) and Girl, Interrupted (1999), which earned her an Oscar. She gained widespread recognition as Lara Croft in Tomb Raider and appeared in films such as Unbroken and By the Sea.
Jolie is the daughter of actors Jon Voight and Marcheline Bertrand. She was married to Johnny Lee Miller, Billy Bob Thornton, and Brad Pitt, with whom she raised six children before their divorce in 2016. As a UN ambassador, she supports refugees and established the Jolie-Pitt Foundation. She is also active on Instagram.
