Eileen Gu, born September 3, 2003, in San Francisco, is an American-Chinese freestyle skier and two-time Olympic champion. She won her first adult World Cup stage in 2019 at age 15 and competed for China at the 2022 Beijing Olympics, where she won gold in big air and halfpipe and silver in slopestyle, becoming the first woman to win three freestyle medals at a single Olympics. After the 2022 Games, she paused competition to study sociology and art at Stanford, returning in 2025 to win multiple World Cup stages.
