Biography of Nina Dobrev
Nina Dobrev, born January 9, 1989, in Sofia, Bulgaria, is a Canadian-Bulgarian actress known for her roles in "Degrassi: The Next Generation" (2006) and "The Vampire Diaries" (2009–2017). Raised in Toronto, she studied ballet, gymnastics, and acting before pursuing a career in film, with notable performances in "xXx: Return of Xander Cage," "Flatliners," and "Love Rules."
As of 2025–2026, Dobrev continues to work on new film and TV projects while maintaining a strong social media presence with over 12 million Instagram followers. She has been in a relationship with musician Sean Taylor since 2024, following a previous relationship with Ian Somerhalder from 2011 to 2013. Dobrev remains unmarried and has no children.
