Sabrina Carpenter, born May 11, 1999, in Pennsylvania, is an American singer, actress, and songwriter. She began posting covers on YouTube at age 10 and debuted on television in 2011 with Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Her breakthrough role was Maya Hart in Riley's Stories (2014–2017). She appeared in High Society (2018), Working on It (2020), and Waist in Wonderland (2020). Her music career started in 2014 with Hollywood Records; her debut EP Can't Blame a Girl for Trying was successful.
