Sofia Kashtanova, born on August 6, 1987, in Moscow, is a Russian actress from a creative family. She lived in Mexico during her childhood, learning Spanish and Latin American culture, and graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School in 2007. Kashtanova debuted in the series Detectives (2006) and gained recognition for her role as Kristina in Policeman from Rublevka (2016–2021).
She also appeared in Thaw, Wolf Sun, and Resort Romance. Sofia maintains privacy about her family life, is married with a son, and shares her work on social media. Besides acting, she practices yoga, paints, and studied philosophy in India.
