Biography of Aleksandra Mitroshina
Alexandra Mitroshina, born on 27 June 1994 in Petrozavodsk, is a Russian journalist, feminist activist, and author known for the bestseller Promoting Personal Blogs on Instagram. She moved to Moscow as a child and graduated with honours from Moscow State University. Starting as a student, she began blogging about healthy living, self-development, and women's issues, gaining over 3 million followers on Instagram and maintaining a presence on YouTube and VK.
Mitroshina has launched promotional marathons, courses, podcasts, and charitable projects addressing violence. Her outspoken views on feminism, sex education, domestic violence, and body positivity have sparked polarized reactions, including high-profile leaks and harassment in 2023–2024. Despite this, she continues her public work and engagement with critics from her base in Moscow.
