Biography of Megan Markl (Meghan Markle)
Meghan Markle, born August 4, 1981, in Los Angeles, is an American actress and activist known for her role as Rachel Zane in the TV series Suits (2011–2017). She studied theater and international relations at Northwestern University and is the daughter of a cinematographer and social worker. Meghan married Prince Harry in 2018 after their engagement in 2017, becoming the Duchess of Sussex. They have two children: Archie (born 2019) and Lilibet (born 2021).
In 2020, Meghan and Harry stepped down from their royal duties and relocated to California. They established the Archewell Foundation, produce podcasts, and collaborate with Netflix. Meghan advocates for feminism, women's rights, and mental health, and is the first American with African American heritage in the British royal family. She is also an author of children's books and a yoga practitioner.
